About Sleeping with Other People
'Sleeping with Other People' is a 2015 romantic comedy film directed and written by Leslye Headland. The story revolves around Lainey (Alison Brie) and Jake (Jason Sudeikis), two New Yorkers who lost their virginity to each other in college, and run into each other 12 years later at a sex addiction meeting. Lainey, a teacher, is obsessed with her ex-boyfriend, while Jake, a software project manager, is a womanizer who can't commit. They form a close bond and help each other change their unhealthy habits, without realizing they might be perfect for each other.

The film was produced by Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and IM Global, with Headland as the director and scriptwriter. It was released by IFC Films. Despite its modest budget, the film received wide critical acclaim for its unique take on romantic comedies.
Actors
