Making/Production

Trey Parker and Matt Stone developed South Park at a production company named Celluloid Studios. The early episodes were infamous for their cutout animation style, painstakingly created with construction paper. However, the animation evolved into computer-rendered images mimicking the original cutout style. The bulk of each episode is written, voiced, and animated within a week, keeping the humor timely and fresh.
