About South Side

South Side is an American comedy television series that premiered on Comedy Central in July 2019. Set in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago's south side, it is about two friends, Simon James and Kareme Young, who have just graduated from community college and are ready to take over the world. However, they are forced to work at Rent-T-Own, a retail-rental crossroads where the South Side's vast ensemble of characters come together.
