About Spider-Man

The Spider-Man series, released from 2017 to 2022, is a popular American animated television series that is based on the iconic Marvel Comics character of the same name. The series retells the story of Peter Parker, a high school student who moonlights as the superhero Spider-Man after being bitten by a radioactive spider. The series covers a wide range of storyline arcs from the original comics as well as new ones, showing the protagonist battling a variety of super villains while also dealing with typical teenage issues.

Making / Production

Produced by Marvel Animation for Disney XD, this version of Spider-Man was designed to introduce the character to a new generation of viewers. The series was executive produced by Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Eric Radomski, and Joe Quesada. Philip Pignotti served as the supervising director, and the series was written by a team of experienced comic book writers led by Kevin Shinick.
