Released on July 2nd, 2019, "Spider-Man: Far From Home" is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. In this film, we follow Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), who goes on a school trip to Europe with his friends. But his vacation is quickly disrupted when Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) recruits him to help fight the Elementals, alongside Quentin Beck / Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who claims to be from an alternate reality. As the plot unfolds, it becomes clear that not everything or everyone is as they first appear.

Making / Production

Directed by Jon Watts, with screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the movie is the sequel to 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' (2017) and the 23rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Production started in July 2018, shooting across locations in England, the Czech Republic, Italy, and the New York metropolitan area.
