Splash is a 1984 American romantic comedy fantasy film directed by Ron Howard. The film revolves around a young man who falls in love with a mysterious woman who is secretly a mermaid. The movie has a perfect blend of romance, comedy, and fantasy.

Directed by Ron Howard, Splash is a Touchstone Pictures production. The idea for the film was conceived by Brian Grazer, who eventually co-produced the movie. The production of the movie was complicated due to underwater scenes. But with the dedicated and hard work of the production team, they were able to bring this unique concept to life.
