"Star Wars Rebels" is an American 3D animated television series that premiered in 2014 and concluded in 2018. It is set in the Star Wars galaxy, during the time period between the films "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith" and "Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope". The story features characters like Ezra Bridger, a young orphan from Lothal who learns the ways of the force under Kanan Jarrus, a former Jedi Knight.

Making / Production

The series was produced by Lucasfilm Animation and was officially announced on May 20, 2013. The creative team behind the series included Dave Filoni (Supervising Director), Simon Kinberg and Greg Weisman among others.
