About Star Wars Resistance

Star Wars Resistance is an American 3D animated Sci-Fi television series produced by Lucasfilm Animation. The series premiered on Disney Channel on October 7, 2018, and later debuted on Disney XD in the United States and worldwide. The unraveled story is set in the Star Wars galaxy and takes place before the events of 'The Force Awakens'. The series follows a young pilot Kazuda Xiono, who is recruited by the Resistance to spy on the growing threat of the First Order.

Making / Production

The production of Star Wars Resistance was announced by Lucasfilm on April 26, 2018. The series was created by Dave Filoni, the mind behind Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Visual style was inspired by Anime and the series was produced using CGI animation.
