About

Start-Up is a 2020 Romantic TV Comedy that follows the story of Seo Dal-mi, an ambitious young woman who dreams of becoming Korea's Steve Jobs. Despite coming from a financially-struggling background, Dal-mi is determined to succeed and starts her own start-up company.

The show revolves around the lives of Dal-mi and other aspiring entrepreneurs as they navigate their way through the competitive world of the Korean start-up scene. Start-Up was created and written by Park Hye-ryun, who is known for her previous successful K-dramas such as "Dream High" and "While You Were Sleeping." The show was directed by Oh Choong-hwan, who has also worked on popular dramas like "Hotel del Luna" and "Doctors."

The series was produced by Studio Dragon and aired on tvN, one of South Korea's leading cable TV channels. It consists of 16 episodes and premiered on October 17, 2020.
