Station Eleven is a television miniseries that was released in 2021. It can be classified as science fiction drama, based on the 2014 novel of the same name by Emily St. John Mandel. The show plots the aftermath of a flu pandemic that wipes out most of the world's population, and the survivors trying to rebuild their lives amidst the chaos.

Making / Production

This series is produced by Patrick Somerville who also serves as the showrunner. Hiro Murai is the primary director, having directed six of the show’s ten episodes. The other episodes were directed by Jeremy Podeswa and Helen Shaver. The series is a production of Paramount Television.

Actors

• Mackenzie Davis as Kirsten Raymonde, a thriving actress in the post-apocalypse. Davis presents Kirsten as resilient, traumatized and complex.
• Himesh Patel as Jeevan Chaudhary, a paparazzo turned paramedic who experienced the onset of the pandemic. Patel's performance encapsulates a profound transformation from shallow photographer to lifesaving first responder.
• David Wilmot as Clark Thompson, a corporate consultant and later curator of the Museum of Civilization. Wilmot skilfully portrays a character who undergoes personal metamorphosis throughout the series.
