Steven Universe: The Movie is an American animated musical movie produced by Cartoon Network Studios. It is based on the television series Steven Universe. The film was directed by Rebecca Sugar and released in 2019. It presents an older Steven Universe who believes he has earned his "happily ever after". However, his past comes back to haunt him in the form of a mysterious gem who aims to destroy all organic life on Earth, forcing him to face the aftermath of his choices and save the world once again.
