About Stitch! The Movie
Stitch! The Movie is a direct-to-video animated science fiction comedy film released in August 2003, a sequel to the 2002 film Lilo & Stitch and the second film in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. The story takes us back to Hawaii, where Stitch is living happily with Lilo and her older sister, Nani. One day, they suddenly discover a secret chamber in their house which contains the other 625 experiments of Jumba Jookiba, Stitch’s creator, leading to loads of exciting, chaotic, and hilarious adventures.
Making / Production
The film was produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and animated by Rough Draft Studios. The film was directed by Tony Craig and Bobs Gannaway, and was intended to serve as the backdoor pilot for the Lilo & Stitch TV series, which launched thereafter.
