Super Buddies is an American-Canadian adventure family film that was released in 2013. It's the 7th installment of the Air Buddies franchise. Directed and written by Robert Vince, the movie features a group of adorable puppies on a mission to stop a villain's nefarious plan. It is a hightail family adventure where the Buddies, Budderball, B-Dawg, Rosebud, Buddha, and Mudbud, discover mysterious rings that grant them each a unique superpower. They soon realize they must use them to stop a nefarious alien, known as Commander Drex, from destroying the planet. Along the way, a new pup, Shasta, joins their epic journey.

Making/Production

Developed under the production banner of Walt Disney Home Entertainment, Super Buddies was shot in Vancouver, Canada. The filmmaker put great emphasis on art direction, visual effects, and costumes to make the puppies and their superpowers believable.
