About The Swap

Released in 2016, "The Swap" is a Disney Channel Original Movie based on a book of the same name by Megan Shull. The teen comedy-drama follows the stories of a rhythmic gymnast Ellie and a hockey player Jack, who swap bodies due to a magical text. They are forced to live each other's lives, experiencing struggles, combating stereotypes, and eventually learning to understand and appreciate each other.

The Swap was directed by Jay Karas and written by Charlie Shahnaian and Shari Simpson. The film was produced by Gaylyn Fraiche and Kim Todd, with cinematography by James Liston.
