About Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

"Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" is a science fiction television series that first aired in January 2008. A continuation of the "Terminator" series of films, it is set after the events of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and follows Sarah Connor and her son John as they run from the law while also battling Skynet, the artificially intelligent system threatening to destroy humanity.

Making / Production

The series was produced by Warner Bros. Television, and C2 Pictures (C2 Pictures was replaced by The Halcyon Company in season two). Josh Friedman is the series' creator. The TV Show had two seasons with 31 episodes in total before it was cancelled in 2009.

Actors

  • Lena Headey as Sarah Connor - She delivered an intense and energetic performance, bringing a strong, determined, and intense portrayal to the character we first saw in the Terminator films.
  • Thomas Dekker as John Connor - John is portrayed as a teenager trying to live a normal life while also learning how to become humanity’s eventual savior in the impending war against the machines. Dekker’s performance beautifully captures this struggle.
  • Summer Glau as Cameron - A Terminator sent back from the future to protect John. Glau excels in capturing the mechanical movements and emotionless face of a cyborg, while injecting subtle hints of humanity.
  • Richard T. Jones as James Ellison - An FBI Agent, first pursuing Sarah and later becoming an ally. Jones brilliantly plays his role, showing the transformation of his beliefs about the upcoming threat of Skynet.
