About The Three Musketeers

The Three Musketeers is a 1993 adventure-comedy film adaptation of Alexandre Dumas's novel of the same name. The film revolves around d'Artagnan, a young man determined to become a royal musketeer. He teams up with three musketeers – Athos, Porthos, and Aramis – to stop the Cardinal Richelieu from seizing the French throne.

The film was directed by Stephen Herek and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It was produced by Joe Roth and Roger Birnbaum, with a screenplay written by David Loughery. The movie was filmed in Austria and England.
