About Time Bandits

The movie "Time Bandits" is a British fantasy adventure film that was released in 1981. Directed by Terry Gilliam, it revolves around the story of a young boy, Kevin, who finds his wardrobe acting as a gateway through which a group of time-travelling dwarves emerge. These dwarves stole a map from the Supreme Being and are using it to travel through different points in time, intending to steal riches. However, they're pursued by the Supreme Being and Evil. As Kevin joins their adventures, they encounter various historical and fantastical characters.

"Time Bandits" was brought to life by director Terry Gilliam. Alongside Gilliam, the movie was co-written by fellow Monty Python member Michael Palin. With its unique concept and impressive cast, the movie is an amalgamation of British comedy and fantastic adventure.
