Released in 2009, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" is an American science fiction action film directed by Michael Bay and is the sequel to 2007's "Transformers". The story picks up with Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky heading to college and trying to live a normal life. However, it seems that his involvement with the Autobots isn't over as he keeps having vivid visions which suggest an ancient power is on Earth. This power is a coveted artifact that could lead to the Autobots' doom. It's a race against time for the Autobots as they battle Decepticons who want the power for themselves.

Making / Production

Following the success of the first film in the Transformers franchise, "Revenge of The Fallen" was produced with an estimated budget of $200 million. This film was produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy and Ian Bryce. The screenplay was written by Ehren Kruger, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.
