About Trigun: Badlands Rumble

Trigun: Badlands Rumble, released in 2010, is an animated feature film from the iconic anime series, Trigun. It revolves around the protagonist, Vash the Stampede, who is infamous as a humanoid typhoon for his destructive reputation.

In the movie, Vash gets into a conflict with Gasback, a notorious robber, which ensues throughout the film. After twenty years, Gasback’s grudge against Vash comes to a head in Macca City, setting the stage for an epic showdown.

Making / Production

Trigun: Badlands Rumble is directed by Satoshi Nishimura and produced by Madhouse. Yasuhiro Nightow, the original creator of Trigun, also had a significant role in the movie's creation, contributing to scenario writing and character designs.

Actors

  • Masaya Onosaka voices Vash the Stampede, the protagonist. Onosaka brings an exceptional eccentricity and charm to the character, all the while maintaining a layer of seriousness when needed.
