About Triple 9

Triple 9 is an action packed thriller set around a group of corrupt police officers who are blackmailed by the Russian mafia to pull off an extremely challenging heist. The plot thickens as the group decides the only way to pull it off is to murder a rookie cop causing a '999', code for 'officer down', to act as a diversion.

'Triple 9' was directed by John Hillcoat and written by Matt Cook. Produced by Keith Redmon, Bard Dorros, and Steve Golin, the film is a combination of heist elements intertwined with visceral action thriller. Principal photography began on May 28, 2014 and concluded on July 6, 2014. The film was shot in Atlanta, Georgia.

• Casey Affleck as Chris Allen: The new officer in the force, his life is in peril as he becomes the designated '999'. Affleck plays the role with earnestness and vulnerability.
