About Tyrant

Tyrant is a captivating American television drama series that made its debut in 2014. Developed by Gideon Raff and produced by Fox 21, the series tells the story of Barry Al-Fayeed, the youngest son of an infamous Middle-Eastern tycoon, who comes home after a 20-year self-imposed exile to his war-torn country. His reluctance to be part of the family business leads to life-changing events.

Making / Production

Created by Gideon Raff, the production of Tyrant was a grand project with involvement from writers Howard Gordon and Craig Wright. The series was shot in Israel for it's first two seasons before moving to Hungary due to security concerns in Israel.
