About Ultimate Spider-Man
Ultimate Spider-Man is an animated television series, based on the Super Hero Spider-Man from the Marvel Comics. The series got released in 2012 and went on till 2017. Produced by Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, the series showcases the youthful years of Spider-Man, aka Peter Parker. It revolves around a teenage Peter Parker as he becomes Spider-Man and learns to balance his life as a high school student and the responsibilities of a superhero. He is approached by Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization, S.H.I.E.L.D., who recruits Spider-Man to team up with four other teenage superheroes.

The series was developed by Marvel's creative team, led by Brian Michael Bendis, Paul Dini, and Man of Action. It was produced by Marvel Television in association with the Disney XD channel. The series was unique in its approach to the Spider-Man universe, taking considerable creative risks, including a more comic-styled animation and humor approach.
