About Upside-Down Magic

Based on the New York Times bestselling children's fantasy book series by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins, "Upside-Down Magic" is a fantasy-adventure Disney Channel Original Movie. The plot follows Nory, a 13-year-old girl who finds herself at a school for magic, where she discovers that her unique approach to magic makes her special.

Unsuccessful in mastering standard spells, Nory's quirky and unconventional abilities send her to a special class for those with upside-down magic, UDM for short. Refusing to give up on herself and her upside-down magic, Nory, with her newfound friends and their own unique magical abilities, sets out to prove that their magic is just as good as any other.

The movie was produced by Suzanne Farwell and Susan Cartsonis, with Joe Nussbaum serving as the director. The screenplay is written by Nick Pustay and Josh Cagan based on the book series. Upside-Down Magic was filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Actors
