About Us Again

"Us Again" is an enthralling animated short film released in 2021 by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Director Zach Parrish and his team used a unique combination of dance and vibrant visuals to present a touching tale about an elderly couple regaining their youth. The story revolves around Art, an aged man, and Dot, his lively and energetic wife. Art, feeling trapped by old age, watches helplessly as Dot boundlessly enjoys life. However, under the magical influence of rain, the couple becomes youthful again, seizing the moment to revel in the beauty of dance and love, expressing their affection and passion for each other.

Making / Production

The film was first revealed in February 2021 and was made available in theatres before Raya and the Last Dragon. Directed by Zach Parrish, the film exhibits a unique dance and movement animation, fusing multiple dance genres with expressive animation techniques. This was achieved by working closely with professional dancers and choreographer Keone Madrid.
