About WALL-E

WALL-E, a film released by Pixar Studios in the year 2008, is a heartwarming tale of a waste collecting robot named WALL-E, who, after 700 years of performing his duties, has developed a personality and yearns for more from life. He is smitten by Eve, a search robot sent by humans living in a spaceship as they wait for Earth to become habitable again. The film was directed by Andrew Stanton, produced by Jim Morris (President of Pixar at the time), and co-produced by Lindsey Collins. Despite being a computer-animated film, some scenes incorporate live-action for a unique cinematic effect. The film took around five years to complete and involved a massive team of talented artists and animators.
