About Wellington Paranormal
"Wellington Paranormal" is a New Zealand mockumentary comedy horror television series that first premiered in 2018. It was co-created by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, who are well-known for their work on "What We Do in the Shadows" - the movie upon which the series is based. The show follows the adventures of Officers Minogue and O'Leary, who are introduced to the supernatural when they encounter a werewolf during a routine call. Following their encounter, they are tasked with handling all paranormal incidents in Wellington, New Zealand.
