About Wild Tales

'Wild Tales' is a 2014 Argentine-Spanish black comedy anthology film, composed of six standalone shorts. Directed by Damián Szifron, these disparate narratives are united by themes related to revenge, despair, and the inherent absurdity of life.

The first tale, 'Pasternak,' revolves around a man seeking revenge on those who wronged him. In 'The Rats,' a waitress recognizes her client as the loan shark who ruined her family. 'The Strongest' chronicles the violent road rage between two men. 'Little Bomb' shows a man fighting against a corrupt system after his car is towed. 'The Proposal' documents the desperate lengths a rich family would go to cover their son's hit-and-run accident. Finally, 'Until Death Do Us Part' portrays a wedding that spirals into chaos.
