About Wipeout

'Wipeout' is an American reality game show series that aired in 2008, produced by Endemol USA. The show was originally aired on ABC from June 2008 to September 2014. The show features contestants competing in what are billed as the "World's largest" obstacle courses. They have to complete these difficult obstacle courses in the fastest time possible. Each episode sees a set of twenty-four contestants compete to win $50,000 through four rounds - the Qualifier, the Sweeper, the Dizzy Dummies, and the Wipeout Zone.

'Wipeout' was created and produced by the production company Endemol USA. Matt Kunitz and Scott Larsen served as the executive producers for the show. Shooting usually took place at Sable Ranch in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, California, which primarily serves as a film shooting location.
