About Wish You Were Here (1987)
'Wish You Were Here' is a British black comedy film directed by David Leland and released in 1987. The film vividly depicts post-World War-II British society through the life of the character Lynda (Emily Lloyd). Set in a seaside town, 16-year-old Lynda is a rebellious teenager who expresses her defiance against the prim and oppressive norms of the society by launching a sexual crusade and leading a promiscuous life.
