"Witches of East End" is a supernatural drama series that was released in 2013. The plot involves the life of a woman named Joanna Beauchamp who is immortal and possesses magical powers, living a quiet life in the town of East End. She has two adult daughters, Freya and Ingrid, who are also witches unbeknownst to them. The storyline follows the reveal of their true identities and their journey in coming to terms with their witchcraft heritage, while the family also deals with several problems ranging from love dilemmas to magical forces and enemies.

Making / Production

The series, produced by Fox 21 and based on the book of the same name by Melissa de la Cruz, was officially picked up by Lifetime on January 31, 2013. It was created by Maggie Friedman, with executive producers Jonathan Kaplan, Erwin Stoff, Josh Reims, and Stephanie Germain.
