About X-Men: Dark Phoenix

"X-Men: Dark Phoenix" is an American superhero movie released in 2019, based on the Marvel Comics X-Men characters. It's a direct sequel to 2016's "X-Men: Apocalypse". The film revolves around Jean Grey's transformation into the Dark Phoenix, including her losing control of her powers and turn into a dangerous force. The X-Men must decide whether to save her or the rest of humanity.

Making/Production

Production began in June 2017 in Montreal, Quebec and lasted until October 2017. Simon Kinberg, a long-time scriptwriter of X-Men movies, debuted in the movie as a director. The film was one of the first Marvel films to be released after the Disney-Fox merger.
