About Young Sheldon

Young Sheldon is an American comedy television series released in 2017. It is a spin-off prequel to The Big Bang Theory and begins with the character Sheldon Cooper at the age of nine, living with his family in East Texas and going to high school. Sheldon is a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science but learns that isn't always helpful growing up in Texas, a land where church and football are king.

Making / Production

Young Sheldon is a joint creation by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro. Its development started back in November 2016 and the series officially hit the screens on September 25, 2017. The show is filmed in Los Angeles and is produced by CBS Studios in association with Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions.
