About Yu-Gi-Oh!
The TV Series, Yu-Gi-Oh!, released in 2001, is a Japanese anime show that is based on the manga of the same name written by Kazuki Takahashi. The series follows a young boy named Yugi Mutou who solves an ancient puzzle and awakens a gambling alter-ego within his body. Together with his friends, they battle opponents in the game known as Duel Monsters where the stakes are high and the dangers real.
Making / Production
The series was produced by Nihon Ad Systems and animated by Studio Gallop. The Japanese version of the series was directed by Kunihisa Sugishima. The English adaptation, produced by 4Kids Entertainment, was directed by Eric Stuart.
