About Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL

Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL is an anime television series that first aired in Japan in April 2011 and in the United States in October 2011. It follows the story of Yuma Tsukumo as he uncovers his destiny as the Duel Champion. Aided by a spirit from another dimension named Astral, Yuma learns to harness the power of ZEXAL to face off against fierce competitors in the Duel Monsters game.

Making / Production

The show was created by Kazuki Takahashi and produced by Nihon Ad Systems while being directed by Satoshi Kuwahara. The series has a total of 73 episodes. The series was localized by 4Kids Entertainment for an English release in North America in 2011.

Actors

  • Tasuku Hatanaka as Yuma Tsukumo: A skilled actor who brought the character's excitement and thrill of the game to life brilliantly.
  • Miyu Irino as Astral: Irino's voice acting added a mysterious and wise layer to the character.
