'Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files' (originally released in Japan as 'Yu Yu Hakusho') is a popular anime series which aired from 1992 to 1995. The story revolves around a delinquent teen named Yusuke Urameshi, who gets killed while saving a child from a car accident. Given a chance to return to life by the ruler of the afterlife, he becomes a 'Underworld Detective', responsible for investigating cases of demons and apparitions on Earth.

Making / Production

Created by Yoshihiro Togashi, the anime series is based on the manga of the same name. The animation was produced by Studio Pierrot and it was later licensed by Funimation for distribution in North America.
