About Zeke and Luther

Zeke and Luther is an American sitcom that aired on Disney XD from June 15, 2009, to April 2, 2012. The show follows the lives of two best friends, Zeke and Luther, who dream of becoming world-famous skateboarders. The series was set in the northern part of Gilroy, California, and constantly portrays the characters' endeavors to become top skateboarders, whilst dealing with typical adolescent situations and dilemmas along the way.

Making / Production

The show is created by Tom Burkhard and Matt Dearborn. Produced by Turtle Rock Productions, the series was filmed in various parts of California, with its skateboard scenes being performed by professional skateboarders as stand-ins for the actors, due to the dangerous stunts depicted in the series.

Actors

• Hutch Dano as Zeke Falcone - Zeke is the 'brains' behind the operation, who comes up with all of their tactics to become professional skateboarders. He's careful, cunning, and his quick thinking usually saves them from sticky situations.
• Adam Hicks as Luther Waffles - The self-proclaimed "brains of the operation", Luther is a bit naive but still an effective partner to Zeke on their path to stardom.
• Daniel Curtis Lee as Kojo Jonesworth - As their skating buddy, Kojo often goes on adventures with Zeke and Luther. He considers himself the best skater of the trio and is always competitive but adds humor to the series.
• Ryan Newman as Ginger Falcone - Ginger is Zeke's younger, ambitious, and sometimes intimidating sister who frequently gets mixed up in their antics.

• Throughout the series, a running gag is people saying 'I blame Zeke and Luther' when something chaotic happens.
• Despite "Gilroy" being in northern California, the show mostly was filmed in the southern part of the state.
• Zeke's full name, Ezekiel, is only mentioned once, in the first episode of the show.
