About Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century is a 1999 Disney Channel Original Movie set in the year 2049. The plot centers around Zenon Kar, a 13-year-old girl who lives with her family on an Earth-orbiting space station. After getting into trouble with the space station's commander, Zenon's parents punish her by sending her to Earth to live with her Aunt Judy.

As Zenon adjusts to life on Earth, she uncovers a plot to sabotage the space station where her parents and friends are. With the help of her Earth friends and her intelligence, Zenon must race against time to save her home and everyone on it.

Making / Production

The movie was directed by Kenneth Johnson, with the screenplay written by Stu Krieger. The film is based on a book of the same name by Marilyn Sadler and Roger Bollen. The space-themed backgrounds and special effects helped bring the futuristic space setting to life.

Actors
