"Resident Evil" is an action horror film released in 2002, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. It is loosely based on the popular video game series of the same name. The story revolves around an elite military unit that combats a powerful, out-of-control supercomputer and hundreds of scientists who have mutated into flesh-eating creatures after a laboratory accident.
